The British Football Academy are the new Durban Central Local Football Association champions in the U17 Division A League in 2024.

It has been a season to remember for Head Coach, Siyabonga Mnganga; Assistant Coach, Mpumelelo Mkhize; Goalkeeper Coach, Thabiso Pakkies; and Office Administrator, Oscar Buthelezi, and, of course, our group of players.

The team achieved a near-unbeaten league season, losing just one game en route to the championship, while sealing the title with one match to spare.

This was the BFA’s first official campaign since inception at the end of 2023, while the team was assembled just months prior, with expectations undoubtedly exceeded by the staff and playing squad.

With one match still to play, Khulekani ‘Sda’ Nxumalo and Awande ‘Torres’ Xaba are separated by just one goal in the race for the BFA Golden Boot, with Nxumalo leading on nine strikes and Xaba on eight for the season.
